Hello, I'm Marco!

I am a native Italian speaker, for the last 7 years I have worked as a music/languages teacher for several schools in Asia (Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong) and in CS again with one year experience in HR and since last year in Social Media Moderation (where I contribute, besides Multilanguage MOD, as CS agent (by mail , chat and tools like Zendesk and Falcon) and translator (ENG, ITA, ESP). These experiences have enabled me to gain a better understanding of the learning processes, improve several languages (besides my mother tongue Italian and English) like Spanish, Polish and Japanese , learning new tools like Zendesk, Talkdesk, Jira, Falcon, learning many new important aspect about Moderation and SM, remote jobs, dealing with people and children and working under pressure. In the school I was responsible for taking care of children, arranging lessons which significantly strengthened my approach to making decisions and solving problems under time pressure. Working for these schools has provided me with the opportunity to put technical English into practice. My previous experience on customer service (totally 7 years, previously 3 years in contact centers) and on front/back office reception gave me the opportunity to learn how to organize and manage my time successfully to deal with people, work under pressure. My responsibilities included taking care of customers, repling to emails and calls, and arranging meetings. My time there made me realized the importance of good communication and accuracy for details. My employment history and educational background have enabled me to gain experience in the area of teaching, data entry, receptionist, customer care. The combination of my skills and education makes me an ideal candidate for this position. I will bring new ideas, passion and enthusiasm to the job.
