Hello, I'm Mireille!

Mireille has more than 30 years experience in delivering Learning Services of high quality and effectiveness. She has spent most of her working life on International projects with different industries. Her first job though was to be an International Assignments Representative for a large multinational (IBM). In this role she was assisting foreigners coming from allover the world to move into Belgium. After that she performed successive International roles (e.g. designing professional and management development training, training others in instructional design methods, delivering a leadership training for organizational learning, building knowledge collaboration networks and change management programs. She spent the last 15 years in advising the product lifecycle management (PLM) division of IBM and of Dassault Systemes Corporations on Sales Enablement learning strategies and blended learning solutions. She is passionate about helping individuals and organizations to facilitate change and turn resistance to change into excitement. Mireille's values are: to focus on others' interests; to establish a true collaborative approach to relationships with the belief that "working together will result in a better outcome for both"; to take a medium to “long-term relationship” perspective with the goal of building long-term success for everyone involved; to be transparent in all one’s dealings to simplify and strengthen relationships through credibility. Here is what one of her former Expats, Tom Anderer, wrote in 2012 about her: "I was assigned to IBM's International Education Center, at La Hulpe, Belguim, in 1981. As a foreign assignee I was faced with the usual settling-in problems combined with a lack of usage of the French language. As the Director of the Finance and Administration School I was immediately engaged in my assigned activities. If it had not been for the professional and caring efforts of Mireille Lucas I would not have been able to function in my new position while finding a new home, coordinating personal shipments, registering my son in high school, obtaining Belgium identity cards, drivers licenses -- well you get the picture. Mireille was my go-to person, not only on entry but also throughout my four years assignment, and as well coordinating the complexities of my end of assignment. I am pleased to note that over that entire period she was efficient, extremely dedicated, integrity bound and simply a joy to work with. She is a rare gem!
