Description
The Teaching Assitant will work alongside the English teacher to help learners enhace mostly their oral skills and intercultural awareness by planning activities, preparing presentations and engaging in conversation with them.
Requirements
Be native English speakers or equal levelBe European Passport Holder or Have legal permission to be in SpainHave a teaching vocation.Be flexible and able to adapt quickly to a new country and its culture Also desirable: Have received a university degree in Education or similar field (desirable).It is highly recommended that teaching assistants who apply for these positions have some non-professional experience in foreign language teaching, or at least as students of a foreign language.A qualification in teaching English as a foreign Language is recommended, such as: Tefl, Celta etc.Previous experience of working with children, such as summer camps, internships in schools, au pair, etc.Have experience of learning a foreign language.Some knowledge of Spanish, although this is not essential.
Offer
The Teaching Assistant will receive all necessary support and help with the formalities and administrative requirements related to the role.Upon arrival, the TA will receive from Up International Education all the support needed with accommodation and/or any paperwork involved, and with any other matters to enable the candidate to settle in smoothly, as well as helping the TA to adapt to Spanish life.Moreover, a personal tutor will be assigned to the TA during the whole school year and will provide all the support needed.
