Hello, I'm Canan!

Hi, my name is Canan and I'm a filmmaker based in Barcelona since 2015. I grew up in Berlin and first fell in love with the beautiful capital of Catalonia in 2008 when I came here with the Erasmus exchange program. I studied Film and Documentary Filmmaking and work as a producer, director and editor at film, video and new media projects. What I love about Barcelona are its diverse “barrios” (neighbourhoods), Sundays with tapas and vermut, its live music and artistic scene, nature and local street festivities. I have a big heart for Yoga, too. If you want to live in Barcelona I can help you with everything from showing you around or recommending you the best places (restaurants, shops, bars, and more) Barcelona has to offer, doing translations for you, helping you with your Spanish CV, searching for a job, preparing you for job interviews, finding a home, supporting you with all kind of paperwork that awaits you (social security number, NIE, health insurance card, applying to work as a freelancer, etc.), and anything else you might need help with.
